You are continuously putting into words what I have felt for so long. I quit my publishing job of 6 years and am still in the industry but looking to eventually get out. My whole life I felt like I had a calling. Now I just want a job. It’s so exhausting for me to try to explain everything I feel, and you have done it so perfectly. It’s nice to know I’m not alone, and disheartening to know so many others are experiencing it too.

Just goes to show that publishing has needed some changes for a while now but instead, it's losing valuable people who can't afford to stick it out (mentally, emotionally, or financially).
